Inter-School Quiz Competition An Inter-School Quiz Competition was conducted among students of four nearby schools in July 2016. A preliminary written round was conducted by our 3rd year students at respective schools on 8th July and the toppers (a team of two students) from each school were participated in the final round. World Ozone Day Celebrations 2018 Department of Physics, in association with Nature club of Henry Baker College, celebrated World Ozone Day on 19 September 2018 with the support of  Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) based on the focal theme “keep cool and carry on! 15/10/2018 Special Lecture by Retired Faculty of the College Special classroom lecture was organised by Department of Physics for final year students on 15 October 2018 to motivate and enrich their knowledge in the subject. Prof. Anie George, retired faculty and former HOD of Physics Department, Henry Baker College served as the resource person. She delivered a lecture on the topic ‘Numerical Methods in Physics’ which was followed by an interaction section where she shared her experiences and discussed on career options in Physics. 

Physics Association Inauguration and Commemoration of Hiroshima Day The Physics Association for the year 2019-2020 was inaugurated on 6th August 2019 by Sri. Ajith Thomas, Department of Physics, St. Thomas College, Pala.  Sri. Ajith Thomas delivered an invited lecture on the topic ‘Physics around Us’. The lecture mainly focussed on the applications of physics in our daily life through experimental demonstrations.

National Science Day 2020 was observed by Department of Physics, Henry Baker College on 2rd March 2020.  National Science Day 2020 was celebrated based on a particular theme ‘Women in Science’.
