The Department of mathematics set out its expedition along with Physics department in 1982 with the inception of science group in pre-degree courses. Mathematics has been taught as a complementary course for BSc. Physics for first, second, third and fourth semester. Academic Programmes are managed by competent faculty and backed by updated syllabi. The department strives to cultivate a fine mathematical interest among the students by providing excellent teaching learning ambiance. Students are motivated to learn mathematics, which offers a unique and accurate method of interpreting the world around us. The Department conducts various student friendly programmes in collaboration with the Physics department.
