History Research Centre
The Department of History is a recognized Research Centre of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. The department promotes collaborative research with national and regional historical research institutes. The research guides of the department occasionally visit the institutes to consult and exchange views and ideas, and vice versa. Two teachers from the department currently serve as Research Guides at this Centre. Presently, two Research Scholars are pursuing their research under the guidance of the Research Guide at the Centre.
