Henry Baker College Strengthens Academia with New Research Centre
The Postgraduate and Research Department of History at Henry Baker College, Melukavu, proudly inaugurated its new History Research Centre on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the College Auditorium.
The Centre was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) C.T. Aravindakumar, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. In his inaugural address, he emphasized the Centre's potential to foster groundbreaking historical research and contribute to academic excellence.
Rt. Rev. V. S. Francis, Manager & Bishop (CSI East Kerala Diocese), offered his blessings and shared inspiring thoughts about the importance of preserving historical heritage. Prof. (Dr.) Dinesan V., Director of the Kerala Council for Historical Research, delivered a special address, highlighting the significance of collaborative research in history.
Prof. (Dr.) Gireesh Kumar G.S., Principal of Henry Baker College, delivered the welcome address, underlining the institution's commitment to nurturing research and innovation.
The History Research Centre is poised to serve as a hub for scholars, students, and researchers, promoting advanced studies in history and enriching the intellectual fabric of the college.
